Maybe someone will like another idea.
Recently our guy got his own "camping tent" as a gift.
This is a bag that can be transformed to the mini camping tent when we get to the resting place.
PS: For sizing purposes - Foxy is currently 19" long.

UPDATE: could not find a link to it, I bought it in our local pet store
but there is something similar on ali CenKinfo Carrier For Cat Pet
Thats pretty cool

Are those strudy enough to stop a falcon or hawk? I have actually had the falcons here try to get my beardies and one of my ferrets with me being there with them.
i'm not sure. it's pretty big, and with the hide in it it's heavy. aren't many hawks or falcons where i'm at. more like seagulls, geese, and herons.

if it helps, here's a quick pic i just took of sir henry in it, my daughter standing next to if for size reference. she's 5'2" tall and he's 22 inches long.

Pack an all-in-one MVB & you won't have to worry about it.
I'm familiar with that area.
If you can find something like this, Tent.
Don't accidentally start a fire.
Because forest fires happen.

Bring a small pet tent and use a Light hanger.

What do you use for a power source then? Or do you go to parks that have electrical outlets available?

I've never done it.
I've done this indoors with lights.
You'd have to bring a power source.
Possibly a Jump it of some sort for a car.

Jump it with plug
Oh ok. I was confused there for a minute. The original poster is talking about safety when going outside in parks or the yard for enrichment and natural UVB. It sounded like you were saying you take the MVB when you do the same.

You probably can.
Many parks I went to in Idaho had concrete slabs W/ benches/tables you could sit down on.
And it's in the shade. (Not naturally, artificially shaded.)
It's probably pretty safe.

Depends on when you go to the park.

EDIT: Make sure it's warm enough; not snowing.

I bet i could reinforce it a bit and make it safe enough. Even if i didn't use it at home it would be great to keep in the camper for when they go with us.

it would be great for the camper because it just collapses down into a zipper pouch when not in use.

we usually have henry on a leash when we are outside, or sitting on us, but sometimes in the summer when it is super nice out we'll get this out and let him hang out while we work in the yard or whatnot

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
