Hi Blevan I know this is not your original thread but you found it due to your poor Don Carlos' situation. I'm so sorry that you and your dragon are going through this, every diagnosis that points to a sad outcome is always horrible news, so I know that your heart is broken. :( Cancer is a plague to us humans and our pets as well.
I wanted to mention that it would not have anything to do with what breeder a dragon comes from. There are children that develop cancer, St. Jude's is a hospital that specializes in childhood cancer and no one can predict what parent will have a child with this unfortunate diagnosis. It's just sad all around.

I understand but if a breeder breeds a clutch of dragons and then breeds those together it is essentially inbreeding them and does cause issues such as cancers and other issues.it’s illegal with cats and dogs but reptiles it is not illegal.I know there is no direct answer to this and yes it totally sucks but I had just mentioned this so that people make sure they do get their animal from someone who is breeding properly.I appreciate the response and it’s going to be tough because she really is such a sweet loving pet.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
