No it's good - you want the clear solid bright white bulb and those are good- I was concerned about the watery eyes that's why I asked
I just got a picture now I think it shows what I’m talking about - like theres also a little black line looks eye liner lol
Assuming may be normal due to the amount she’s been sleeping? Is there a way to clean it / am I supposed to have it cleaned? Don’t want to trigger / discomfort her more if its not necessary

Look like she's got shed coming on - leave it be for now-- see if she starts to shed around the eye

She just woke up, eyes a bit sunken, and is drinking SO much water. I’ve never seen her this thirsty her entire 7 months. She had 4 ml of water. My syringe is 1ml and she took 4. Kept biting and waiting for more - is it safe to give her more? I know she wants more water she literally bites the syringe at the end when its finished for more and falls back asleep then opens her eyes again for more

It might be a side effect of the meds. Probably best to wait until tomorrow again. The meds. may have disoriented her a little bit so just wait, you don't want her with a belly full of water as she's lounging in the cool end.

From this vid i think shes doing better? :’)
Stupid medicine. I skipped her dose. She’s alive again. Kind of alive like now she’s back to sleep lol will let her rest. It’s nighttime anyway. Hopefully with no meds in her system by tomorrow morning she’ll have more energy + the UVB arrives! Wahoo!! Praying for this UVB to work its magic

Hello,

How is Ivy doing? Poor girl!
I am in total agreement with Karrie & AHBD with regards to medication use. The only medication
I would consider would be the Meloxicam, but just for a short period of time.
The vitamins & D3 wouldn't be the cause of any vomiting or anything like that.
I don't think she needs the other medications since there isn't any infection at all right now. Are they
sending you the test results this week?
I am sure that the UVB will make a lot of difference for her. You are doing great. Keep us posted on
her progress!

Hi Tracie!
I just went to check on her and the blackness in her beard and body overall has gone down tremendously, I’ve added photos. At some point yesterday she still had a little black on her sides/below neck - I’m hoping this is a good sign? I think its the water that helped her.

When I went to check on her, her eyes were closed but I noticed her clicking her mouth/tongue the way she would after I give her water so I assumed she was thirsty and gave her water and she completely accepted, biting the syringe again.

I agree that the vitamins and D3 wouldn’t cause vomiting, I’m confused as to why he said that. He said the oral D3 could’ve caused her an ulcer and prescribed her medication based on that. The results should come in tomorrow at most - I was also thinking based on googling could it be an upper respiratory infection? (But she doesn’t have any mucus/goo/fluids coming out her nose/mouth so maybe not? Just couldn’t think what else is wrong with her)

UVB arrives today - will install it as soon as I receive it! Will definitely keep you posted on the progress. Thank you so much for your response I appreciate it

In the pic with her mouth open a bit, that was in between drinking water - don’t think its anything to worry about she was swallowing

But also forgot to mention - i think her eyes look sunken in the photos? So confused as to how the blackness went down but eyes are sunken?
Maybe I’m using the wrong term for her eyes but the top of her head/eye part look like they’re sunken

Wow, the beard is no where near as black ! That's really good to see. Do you have a food supplement like Oxbow Critical Care to try her on in a day or 2 ?

I know I was shook when I saw her! Eyes still sunken though.
I do not have that, I just looked it up and there were a bunch, is there anything specific you recommend that I can order? Amazon can have it in a day or 2 hopefully

The one that is marketed for reptiles. I've never used it but it's prescribed by vets and quite a few people on the forums have used it . Maybe one of the owners that have used it can reach out and share their experience. It comes with directions of course, you mix with water and use a syringe to feed it with.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
