I have a beardie that's probably about 2 months old. S/he's currently in a 20 gal tank. I've only had her/him since 12/24. It was a struggle to get the temps where they needed to be, but I've figured it out now. Is there anything else that you can see that that should or shouldn't be in there? Any adjustments I should make? I'll be moving her/him to a 120 gal 4x2x2 withing the next month or 2

Your UVB needs to be unobstructed w/ the T 8 - they are not strong enough to go thru screens and the UVB should be directly over the basking decor 6-8 inches - you can set the UVB vertical over the middle of the tank if you like so that the dragon can get directly under it - the basking lamps can go on the one end on the screen - you will haft to play around w/ it to get it the way you want -

Okay. Thank you for the advice! I'll get some command hooks to mount it today. Any advice on additional supplies I'll need for a 120 gal?

A digital probe hygrometer placed on the back center wall of the tank - your going to need to upgrade the UVB as well to a T 5- I can post links to good ones - I would keep the baby in the tank hes in till hes around 3-4 months old- it will be easier to care for him in the smaller tank so you have time to get stuff you need - make sure you move all the decor he has now going into the bigger tank - but for now leave him in the smaller tank --

I'm also unsure of the length and wattage I should get for a 120 gal
You can use a 24" for the 120 gallon - here are some UVB's there are 3 of them recommened
Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO High Output Terrarium Hood this will come w/ a 5.0 bulb you will need to use this bulb for the 120 gallon tank - the 5.0 is more for smaller tanks under 30 gallon - you want the 22" Reptisun bulb Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB T5 HO High Output Fluorescent Bulb
this one you can find at Pet Smart if you have one
24 watt Arcadia Reptile ProT5 UV-B Kit | reptile Light Fixtures | PetSmart you want the 12% bulb
or this one you will need to get the 22" Reptisun bulb I posted up above for this fixture
when you get the UVB please post back on here I will you get it placed for the tank -- it will need to go inside the tank

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
