Potential start of tail rot?

My dragon has a slight notch near the tip of his tail. The very tip seems to have a black dot. He's about to shed his tail so it might just be that but I'm a very anxious person and would feel a lot better with another opinion. I've only had him for almost 2 weeks and he's around 7 or 8 weeks old. I think it's been there since we got him. I'm mainly concerned because he was housed with many other babies so I'm worried one of them may have bit his tail. It's honestly not even that noticeable but I just want to make sure he is in the best health he can be. I've attached pictures but my camera is pretty bad quality so sorry in advance lol

It looks to have a little kink, but that is pretty common. Tail rot is the flesh literally dying and rotting. It is caused by truma or injury. Let it shed and then take a look.

ok i will ik its hard to see on camera but its a bit more noticeable in person

If you are fairly certain it's an issue, you could reach out to AHBD or Drache613 they can probably help you the most if it turns out to be tail rot.

i think its probably just shedding and stuff. if after the shed it wont go away or he starts acting weird or it seems to spread I will definitely reach out to them
