Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

RJ has been waking wobbly for a bit. He also seems to struggle seeing his food unless real close.
I recently had x-rays done and there's no sign of mbd. Plus he's always had the best uvb lamps and calcium supplements.
He does have adeno virus.
However his weight is good 700 grams, his appetite is good, and he never had black beard.
He's terrible able eating veggies, so lack of them may play a factor, not entirely sure. His temps are good 90-95 high, 75-80 low.
Oh ya and he's 6 years old.
Hope somebody might have some thoughts on this.
Gout?
Adeno affecting his nervous system?
Vision problems? (Unsure if there's any treatment for vision problems)
Thank you in advance.

Hello --- we need to have Tracie look at your post - shes our vet tech mod on here - shes on late at night- she can answer your questions about RJ-- out of curiosity what UVB are you using?

His enclosure is something I custom-made and all the lighting is hardwired on the inside of the enclosure so there's no screen blocking any UVB rays

Tube, of the top of my head, pretty sure it's 26 watts?
26 watts go in domes-- long tube fixture goes in a long fixture -- if your using a coil you need to get rid of it as soon as you can -- they are inadequate for UVB's --

I've been caring for beardies for about 15 years.
I've also been using this forum for guidance about that long too. I've received most of my reliable information from Traci herself. Suffice to say, I've got all of my critical bases covered where proper care is concerned. I'm hindsight I realize it would have been helpful had I said as much in my first post. I know your just trying to help. So thank you.

Ok - so it sounds like a T 5 distance in tank should be 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor
I think it's about 8 inches. You think that's too close?
Also on another topic as I just thought of it, the dimmer in my thermostat seems to have crapped out, so the basking bulb currently turns off and on to adjust the temps through the thermostat should I be real concerned about this or is it not too big of a deal for the moment

the 8 inches is too close if hes not basking under it for to long-- if hes not basking under it for long periods of time its probably too close - the dimmer I dont know anything about but I can have CooperDragon help you on that issue

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
