Not eating, basking a lot, burping

Get him out and bath him -- see if he will drink in the bath --- please get a scale kitchen food scale and you need to keep track of his weight -- get your UVB placed first then when hes out of the bath place him under the UVB and basking light so he can warm up -- watch his behavior--- is there any mucous / nasal discharge -- lots of saliva in the mouth --- any wheezing or popping noise ?

I’m sorry to say that Rocky is dead. My daughter is devastated and we have all cried over him I’m not sure exactly when he passed away but we took him to the vet today to make sure they they couldn’t detect a heartbeat. They said his weight looked great so it wasn’t from lack of eating. We’re not sure what happened. All I know is that what looked like textbook brumation wasn’t and I wish I had taken him to the vet much sooner.

I am so sorry- I feel bad for you and your daughter- I am shocked - I feel terrible - there was a underlying cause that we can never see- all we can do is fix what we can see- again I am so sorry

Oh no, I am so so sorry that you lost little Rocky! :-( It is always devastating to lose them so
suddenly like that. There was obviously something going on you weren't aware of. At least he
wasn't alone & had you with him. We all understand the heartbreak of losing a precious dragon.
