I’m another new parent panicking

Hi everyone
I brought home my two new babies approximately 6week old.
We had to go to Victoria to get them so they had a long 10 hour drive home. We got home on Wednesday night and I placed them straight into their new enclosures which I had set up and had running prior to bringing them home.
Adonis basked for five minutes then hid behind a rock and Hera went straight up a vine and hid in the leaves.
They have both not emerged from their hiding spots or eaten since. It is now Friday morning here.
Do I just give them more time?
I refreshed their vegetables a few times, tried pinhead size mealworms and released baby crickets for a while but they won’t come out and I’m worried grabbing them out will only stress them more.
I put some setup info in my bio.
I’ve only had snakes before so am new to beardies and now have four, two sick rescues and two stressed babies! This is hard.

Well, can you give a complete rundown on all your lighting and pics to show your entire set ups ? It looks like a coil uvb in the reflection in the picture, you'll want to upgrade to a long tubr like Arcadia D3 12-14 % or a Reptisun 10.0 t5.
That being said, it's normal for them to go through a phase of relocation stress where they don't eat and are in a stressed state [ to a degree ] because everything they were used to has changed. You might be better off taking out the fake greenery for now, it's easier for them to hide constantly and also loose insects.

Thank you
From reading other threads this morning it seems coil was a mistake. I’ll have to invest in the tube lighting as soon as I can.
These are my four tanks now.
Two smaller ones are the babies
Two 4ft tanks have the rescues I got when looking for tanks for the babies.
My poor snake has been temporarily kicked out of her big home to accomodate them. She gets her new big tank tomorrow.

You can see vermiculite in the larger girls’ tanks
When I rescued them I discovered a week later that they had eggs and had to set up lay boxes of vermiculite. I spread some through their tanks when they kept digging.
No eggs were viable, I think because they were so unwell at the time.
They had exposed ribs and were very dehydrated. They had no uvb light where they were.

Ok they are going thru relocation stress and that was a long ride home--- please do not leave any crickets in the tank - they can bite and cause infection -- meal worms are not a good choice for babies - the exoskeleton can cause impaction - please get them some BSFL also known as nutri grubs phoenix worms or calci worms - great staple for babies and good salad lures -- drop on the salads in front of them first thing in the morning --you can feed dubia roaches I dont know if you can get them in Australia but they are a good staple feeder and compliment to the BSFL--- please get rid of all the coils --- you want a solid bright white basking bulb -- surface basking temps 105-110 -- please no red sand -- it will cause impaction- you can use a textured NON adhesive shelf liner - clean w/ vinegar/ water 50/50 wipe down w/ a clean wet cloth to get rid of the smell -- cut to the size of the tank insects cannot get underneath -- you need 4 UVB's long tube fixtures - here is where you can get them
these are one of the best on the market -- the coils will cause all kinds of health issues and if not corrected will lead to death - on this site look for Arcadia Halogen basking light - its going to be trial and error w/ these but you want the surface basking temps 105-110--- and please use your digital probe thermometers - you will need to put up some sort of background to keep the dragons from seeing one another - as they get older they will stress each other out -- especially males / females --

I seem to have the temperature ranges stable and monitor with probes. Humidity I have to check daily as where we live it can fluctuate.

When I install the tubing and remove coils, do I keep the ceramic heat bulbs ?

I will get rid of sand when they settle, I’m worried about their stress. The larvae is a great idea, I went for crickets because the rescues I have just love them.

How long would you just let them hide and not eat for?

You need a bright white basking bulb if your only heater is the CHE, otherwise the CHE is good for night but you need to have a cage around the CHE's because beardies sometimes jump on them and can get seriously burned. The babies look healthy and will start eating soon. Your larger girls look nice + healthy now, good job on getting them in better shape ! They probably laid infertile eggs like many females do, with no male in the picture.

I would get rid of the sand as soon as you can - you dont want them eating it -- it will impact them - babies lick everything -- when you get the UVB's please post back on here your screens on your tanks are going to determine placement and distance -- the UVB will effect their appetites as well -- you want them eating something nothing is not good -- so the sooner the better - it will help them acclimate to their tanks better and quicker-- also the clear bright white basking bulbs give off UVA as well --- Flukers -- Exo Terra Intense or Arcadia Halogens are good bulbs

They were sharing tanks with males when I rescued them
They stank as their enclosures were filthy with insects breading behind a background
The girls were glass climbing and had no colour, their stomachs were covered in black stress lines.
I convinced the person to sell me all her tanks and I would take the girls so she had to rehome the boys.
They freaked at first when I bathed them, had the stress of relocation and laying eggs.
They worried me on and off but in just four weeks they are completely different lizards.
Thank you for your help and advice.
I’ll keep working on these setups and be patient with the babies.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
