How much calcium powder?

My bearded dragon is 4 months old and I'm wondering how often to put calcium powder on his food. I use Repta-cal with D3. Right now he gets it twice a week and he really likes it, sometimes he even licks the excess off his reptile carpet!

He needs his insects dusted 5 x per week w/ the D3 one time per day / feeding lightly coated and vitamins w/ beta carotene 2 x per week lightly coated one time per day - this is going to change when he hits 1 year old and depending on the UVB fixture your using - are you using a long tube fixture now for a UVB or a coil one- that would go in a dome

Oh dear we need you to replace the UVB - that is NO good -- please get a long tube fixture like one of these 24 watt or 12% bulb Arcadia Reptile ProT5 UV-B Kit | reptile Light Fixtures | PetSmart look here in the store or you can try ordering it on line
or you can order this one you will need to change the bulb out on this fixture for this one

these are good UVB's I was looking for a 24" Zoo Med fixture but all my websites are out of stock - this is another choice if you want search on line for that this one comes w/ a 5.0 bulb you want the Reptisun bulb I posted above for that fixture

you also want a digital probe hygrometer something like this Exo Terra Digital Hygrometer | Dubia.com
doesnt have to be this brand as long as it has a probe on it - you can shop around for other ones - it needs to be placed on the back center wall of the tank
