I have had Bob for 2 years now with no issues but for the past week or so he has been doing nothing but pacing back and forth scratching at the walls of his enclosure and glass surfing pretty much all day. I usually let him out for about 15-20 minutes a day. He hasn't really eaten much lately either. Lately when he goes to the bathroom it's only a very little bit of urate and just little clumps of poop instead of the big globs he usually leaves. Im starting to suspect Impaction. The past 4 days I've been soaking him for 15 to 20 minutes a day in warm water to try and help with no success of getting him to go except very little 2 days ago. On a normal day he eats around 15-20 crickets dusted with calcium (Rapashy calcium plus only once a week) I for the life of me cannot get him to eat veggies. I have a 48x24x24 pvc enclosure with 36in arcadia 12% bulb 17in above one basking area. He has 2 basking areas using 50 watt halogen lights. One basking spot low to mid 90's the other 100-105 which he alternates using. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

The UVB needs to have a piece of decor directly under it - from the pic it doesnt look like there is one - 17 inches is too far - please lower it to 12-15 inches - its that time of year where it sounds like hes already developing spring fever - Hiccup does this every year but for some reason hes a little early - it normally doesnt start til Jan going into Feb- hes off his food and doing the glass surfing etc-- so I bring him out every morning for about 2 hrs and that seems to do the trick - I am keeping him hydrated as well - usually dropping water on his nose and letting him lick - please lay off the baths- too many are going to dry his scales out- if hes not eating much hes not going to poop much and w/ him pooping hes not impacted

The dinosaur decor he sits on is directly under one of the basking bulbs and uvb. The log looking one is just sitting under a basking bulb. Any ideas how I can lower the uvb fixture. Right now it's just screwed into the top of enclosure. Spring Fever already ? LOL It's only December and it's cold here in MN. I will stop with the baths and I am keeping him hydrated with drops of water on the nose as well.

Yep I am in MN too and I dont know what gives w/ the wanting out / glass surfing either but every Jan/ Feb Hiccup is doing it -- I am not sure how to lower the UVB so I recommend getting a piece of decor that is higher - - its easier to get a decor piece than lower the UVB given you have a wood top - look at Pet Smart they have nice decor pieces - I would take a measuring tape w/ you to the store get measurements of exactly how much height you need to get that distance of 12-15 inches -- or maybe swap out the log piece you have and find another basking decor piece for your basking bulb but make sure your getting the surface basking temps after doing that

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
