i have a friend with a beardie and he's not very well suited to take care of him... his beardie is slightly older than mine, ~5 months. as far as i know, he's been fed almost exclusively pellets. occasional vegetables i think, but not good ones, lettuce and stuff... i think he's had live insects before, but i don't think he gets them very often. I'm very scared for his beardie, does anyone know what will happen if this continues? thanks

He needs protein or he's not going to develop correctly - he should be on a diet of live insects crickets dubias recommended bsfl or silk worms - those should be fed 2 - 3 times per day dusted w/ calcium D 3 once per feeding- fresh salads - he should be eating 20-25 crickets per feeding roaches not as many 10-15 per feeding- uvb should be a long tube fixture so he can absorb/ synthesize the calcium being fed- if all this is off this dragon is going to get really sick - the fresh veggies will help him keep hydrated- he should have surface basking temps of 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer-

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
