My beardie came home from the petstore in September. He was likely 2 months old MAXIMUM. He now has a weird coloring/spots on his underside. He is shedding but a FB group scared me saying it isn’t due to shed but won’t give me much more. I can’t figure out how to post pics. Anyone I could send them to?!

Use your phone and use the attach files to download - we need pics of the issue

Multiple simple ways to post a picture on this site. When you are going to post, there are multiple icons above your text box that allows you to do so.

Or, post the link to FB where you posted the picture.

That looks like naybe he was attacked by another one. With the bruises i doubt it is scale rot. Maybe use some unpasteurized honey or neosporin that is not the oain relieving type on it.

He is going today after work. I just wanted some ideas of what treating this would be like. I’ve been told yellow fungus maybe?
Possibly but you want the vet to take a look and get a sample of it so it can be treated --- I would not give any baths for now as it could cause it to spread more --- let us know what you find out please -- and please make sure your lighting and surface basking temps are up to par --- NO coils for UVB and surface basking temps need to be 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- stick ons are inaccurate

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
