This will be my 1st attempt at breeding. My female is 20 months old, male 15 months. I plan on breeding in 2023.
Question: Does it matter which tank to place together for rituals and breeding?
Both are virgins...

Nice looking dragons ! Some males are more willing to breed in their tank " territory " but they are all different. Many will breed out in a neutral place on a floor in a reasonably warm room in your house. So you can try his place, her place or out in the open to see what might work if they're both willing. If they breed in one of their tanks, watch that he doesn't slam her against the glass, some males are a little rough when they grab the back of the females neck. You don't want your girl to get real stressed or afraid.

Changing females... purchased a 2 year old female about 1 week ago. They have been watching each other through a glass divide. Male is virgin, female is proven (1) clutch with 28 eggs, 26 lived. Both head bobbing and waving with black beard (male) & dark red (female). I plan on placing together on Monday as to observe if they breed or hate each other.
Everything is in place if they succeed, dig box, vermiculite, incubator.
Jethro - multi color Ellie Mae - orange head
Wish me luck!

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
