So today was Draco’s second adventure out of our home, and he did SO well!
When he was 2 months old I brought him downstairs to our community garden, but he was so small and scared, got intimidated by everything and black beard
I felt bad for taking him outside so early.
Now that he’s 5 months old, I wanted to try again. So I put the leash on him and out we went! I sat down in the shade while he basked in the sun. The whole time he was very calm but alert, also super curious about his surroundings. He ran up and down the little steps to get comfortable, licked some bushes nearby, at the end he decided he had enough and climbed on my belly
We spent about 50 min sitting there, and some of our neighbors were fascinated by him! Said he’s a good boy, complimented his pretty colors etc. He didn’t black beard or even flinched once, just calmly looked at all those strangers and accepted the compliments gracefully
I’m definitely taking him out again, for both the natural uvb and enrichment!
