Hello dragon daddies & mommies!

This here is RIDLEY and he's not acting like his usual self. He has been hiding for a couple weeks and now sleeping in his little cave. He still has an appetite if I put food in front, but won't bask. RIDLEY usually likes to bask, poop, eat, then run outside to explore or plop himself on my window. He's doing none of that now.

There have been a lot of factors but I can't say what it could be. We recently had a vet visit on the 25th of July, he had no parasites. I was feeding him 8 roaches a week and told to cut down the dubias from to 3-5 every 2 weeks (1/2" - 3/4" medium dubias). He was weighing 542 at the time, weighed 545 today.

About 2 weeks ago I moved RIDLEY into a
4' x 2' x 2' enclosure. I expected him to be uncomfortable at first, but it's hard to tell now. We live in the lovely Southern California where the weather so jusy super peachy right now, I have the AC running to keep temps and humidity down as best as I can. I also just changed out the previous UVB light I was using in the previous enclosure to the one I have listed below. I can't keep having him on the window, and if it's not brumation then is something wrong with the setup? The first 4 photos I've included were before the move. .

Please help, I'm sweating over the panic button while RIDLEY thinks it's cold enough to go to sleep.

Specs n info:
- UVA: 100W 100-120V in reflector dome
- UVB: 22" 550mm desert t5 12% output
- 1' and some change between basking, output/distance measured with meter
- Basking spot between 95-100 degrees
- (1) medium 1/2" - 3/4" roach every 3 days; 5 every 2 weeks
- Collard greens, Dandelion greens, occasionally squash, sprinkled with bee pollen. 3 servings a day
- Repticalcium without D3 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays
- Calcium with D3 on Tuesdays
- Herptivite multivitamins on Fridays
- Baths every other day or for poopy claws

The basking bulb is what brand? It looks like its got a yellowish tint to it - I dont know if that is from the camera or its actually putting off a yellowish hue

It does not have a yellow tint, that from the camera angle and the shadow from the UVB housing casting into the corner.

The basking bulb is PangeaReptile Halogen Heat Lamp bulb (on a dimmer). It is not coil.

Does any of this sound like he's preparing for brumation? I guess my next question would be what should I be doing and not doing during this time? I've haven't had RIDLEY go into brumation before, he's about 1 year and 4 months.

We need to determine if its other causes for the behavior -- its possible its beginning of brumation - hes still eating just not basking? Please no more baths -- too many will dry his scales out -- it could be just him as well --- I would watch his weight and his poops - are they real runny ? Have a real bad smell?

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
