She is only a few months old and something is wrong with her eye but i don’t know what. I got her a bit over a month now and after a bit i started to realize she would close that eye more. I didn’t pay too much attention to it because i thought it wasn’t anything. Now i look at it and it’s almost always closed and when i took pictures i could see something was wrong. When you look at her eyes from the front you can clearly see there’s a difference between the two eyes. I don’t know if she came like this or if it happened when we got her. No we don’t use sand so it’s not sand in her eye like some people have said. What should i do about this.

also, do you have a red or blue bulb? those come with the kits but are bad for dragon eyes. the picture in your profile looks blue, but it could be something else in the room.

Also basking bulbs --- are you using a clear solid white basking bulb -- please no off white or colored bulbs or daytime bulbs- please answer all the questions asked and we can go from there - if you need help w/ figuring out what your using please post a pic of the bulb in question-- also I see shed around the eye -- they will swell at times causing irritation

I took out the red bulb and replaced it with a night bulb where it has no light. I have that and another light bulb in the basking area that say on all day then at night the one with light gets turned off and the light bulb stays on

I don’t exactly know but it’s like these 3 tube things
Ok please have no lights on at night at all --- you want a good UVB here are some links for that
24" for a 40 + gallon tank this one comes w/ a 5.0 bulb please get the 22" Reptisun 10.0 T 5 bulb
or this one - this one can be found at Pet Smart
these UVB's have certain placement and distance it will be determined by your screen please post back on here when you get it and I will help you place it -- please do this as soon as you can -- your UVB is crucial to the overall health and behavior of the dragon --
basking bulbs please tell me what your using -- also you want surface basking temps of 105-110 for your baby - taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- 2 of these one for your hot side and one for the cool side the probe does not need to stay there on the spot where he sits please check temps every 10 days or so Zoo Med Digital Thermometer

they should not have any lights on at all at night. they like it cool and dark. it looks like your second bulb is a heat emitter. that will only be needed if your night time temps get down to about 65°. work with @KarrieRee on your set up. she's our lighting expert. once that is worked out, other things can be checked out if there isn't improvement.

Your uvb is the coil type, those are garbage and should be banned. Please get one of the long tube type that karrieree posted above. If you continue to use the little screw in coils your beardie IS going to develop metabolic bone disease. Please look up pictures of that. It is a horrible disease BUT it is 100% avoidable. The most critical part of having a beardie is it's light. You can't cut corners on them.
I know we all seem a little pushy about this, but it's only because we want your beardie to live a long and healthy life for you. Once you get the lights set up correctly everything else kindda falls in line.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
