How many batches of eggs is normal?

Hello, my bearded dragon is about 2 and a half years old. In the space of a few months, I'm sure she's laying her 3rd batch of unfertilised eggs. Is this normal? Is she having hormonal issues and is there any way I can help control this, eg lighting, diet etc so she doesn't have to go through this constantly? It's starting to look a bit stressful as she loses her mind for about a week digging in her enclosure before going back to normal, calm and docile.

Maybe u should contact a vet or lizard specialist.

I'd like to for sure and she's going to be going there for a checkup at some point. However, I would like to know if this is normal for bearded dragons and if anyone here has advise about it.

Yes it is normal. I know it seems crazy but they can lay up to 8 clutches [ rarely ] in a year but most dragons won't lay that high number. Three or four clutches is average for a female's first year laying and the frantic digging is normal, some act out more than others. Do you have a laybox for her ? And if you are able can you post some pics of her + her enclosure ?

Not home right now but she has a topsoil/playsand/excavator clay sub that she enjoys digging in. She usually loses her mind for a bit and then after a bit of encouragement will lay her eggs in her hide and bury them.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
