Shed on lip?

Hi everyone, so I will post a pic below of my beardie and her lip. But the reason why I'm concern is because I'm worried its my fault. So long story short , she's been sick and I've been having to use a syringe to feed her, and I'm worried that maybe I've been a bit to harsh with it, because the lip part is where I open her mouth. Maybe I've been too forceful with the syringe? Because sometimes she'll yank away to where the syringe can slide against her lip. Its her bottom middle lip. Here are the pics. Also last time when I used the syringe, I tore the scale not off ,but to the point of it being loose. Kinda like a fish scale.

Looks like she has been rubbing it on something - why is she sick?

Does she glass surf alot? No it's like permanent rub- my oldest has one on his lip from glass surfing
No she doesn't ,but the scale is kinda loose like a fish scale, is that ok? Almost like shed that you can peel off after it's loosen a bit.

A trick to syringe feeding. Place your thumb under the chin, your fingers over the head. Wrap your thumb up to the lower lip. You can very gently pull the lower lip open.it opens really easy like this. You can pull it down far enough the insert the syringe without hurt them. Be aware though they may jerk away. Just be patient and try again. Once you get a little foog or water ir whatever on their gums most times they will start lapping it up. It works with eye droppers for water really well.
Be careful not to aspirate them.

Alright I'll definitely try this next time, but you think her lip is something to be concerned about?

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
