I think some time back i mentioned
Welcome to the rabbit hole

After what feels like 89343 days, the enclosure is finally here. Putting it together was fine, but I was too tired to decorate properly (proper hooks, placement, etc. I put the wallpaper up and it took away from my ability to hang her famous hammock, so I was over it.
Lately she's all about the log but I need her closer to the basking spot.
I left the doors open 3 times, good thing she doesn't go anywhere YET!
Feel free to critique but it's going to change tomorrow. By the way, I threw in the "R" just for the picture LOL
I couldn't resist!
I must say, I thought Rocky was growing and now I feel like she's a baby. I can't wait to take her out and rock her tomorrow :ROFLMAO:'

Oh the random swing thing that she can't reach? That's for me!

I am sure everyone is glad it came so I can stop whining about delayed delivery.

I am glad it finally arrived but its because she has more room. I'm sure she will love exploring it!

It’s so cool! I think she’s glad about it! I love all the enrichment, it isn’t too overdone like some things I’ve seen, but it isn’t boring at the same time!

Thanks, she scratched the empty walls on the side hence me throwing the flowers up. I noticed that she tried to eat the new flowers ... Now I wonder if I need to get her real flowers. It was definitely eating vs her exploring. She may be hungry again but I don't feed her 2 hours before bed due to digestion.

I put her in the play pen (I think she's almost ready for the floor but I, will give her another month) - and she fell asleep. Can you believe she didn't even help me? (Edited message- I was obviously tired when writing this original message!)

The previous post reminded me but those gums definately are strong as teeth!:ROFLMAO: Looking at this picture, I can truly see my baby is growing up....

So I am still trying to get the basking area correct. I put this in the area but she's too young or uncomfortable to reach the top. I then put her on the swing because I just think it's cute but it's too close to the basking light. With all of the wait time, you'd think I plan better but noooo- I have turtle docks (with fake moss) and bird swings. UGH!! I ended up putting her log back - I am going to hang the hammock but how in the world can she reach the ceiling and do I make it the proper height? String?

Sooooo, I turned Rocky gray today. I stressed her out moving things around her new home with her in it. If stopped 1 hour in she would've been okay but I'm obsessed and couldn't stop. The dazed looks, refusal of food- you think that was enough. Nope, she turned gray then went to bed. That was my "okay that's enough moment." Rocky probably thought, "What do I have to do, pass out for you to stop?!"
All is well now, she is back to normal, eating and giving me the stink eye. By the way, it was a pretty shade of gray.

Lol they can be incredibly picky about their homes. Zen sulks for days if i change anything.
Some like it though Chomp would explore and hunt and have a big ole time when i changed hers.

As long as I don't see the beard, I am fine. LOL
I cuddled her a little but she was over me. She has the nastiest attitude sometimes, LOL but I don't love her any less. The window also is a concern so I moved the entire tank only for her to squint to see the window again. I shifted my tv and I think I will lower the blinds to see if it helps. You can hear birds chirping constantly and she is not a fan of it.

Humidity is why i moved out west.
I'll never move back to the East coast.
Here in Nevada its only like 5 to 10 percent most of the time.
You don't want the humidity below 20% it helps w/ shedding and too low will cause RI's

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
