Baby is Depressed?

My girl is 8 mo old. She has always been relaxed and chill. I think I over whelmed her this this week.
Let’s rewind to last Saturday, we picked up a rescue dragon that we are just fostering (it has a new home and goes there in 7 days) My husband when he brought it in just placed the enclosure in the bay window. It was late and my baby was going to sleep so didn’t notice the other dragon. They were say 10 foot from each other. Say in a L shape. My kid woke me at 8 am OMG mommy your baby is going crazy. I wake up and my baby is puffing doing the head bob and all over her enclosure. We move the rescues tank to a different room.
Tuesday kids sleep over. I find my child has my baby out showing her off with out asking. Kids all in her space.
Today I decide to take her on her first outing in public. Just to a store she sits on my shokder and begins just stress marks and being a lump.

With all the recent activity and seeing the foster dragon she is now just bla I am here.
Yes we have a vet appointment unfortunately the soonest is in 7 days. I just wonder if she is over whelmed or maybe about to have eggs (tomorrow I begin making her a lay bin just in case). She is eating less but eating.

Thoughts?

She shouldn't be trying to lay at 8 months. I think 2 1/2 or 3 years is about where that starts. At 8 months she is still learning to trust you. In my experience about 1/2 of my dragons did not tolerate change well. 1/2 lived to have their habitat rearranged. Mostly She is stressed, give her a few days to calm down.
Another thought is that if "she" is head bobbing you may have a male ;-)

I thought she may be a he when I seen that but also read it females donit as well. Wel the vet on Saturday will tell me.
Another idea is she may be going in to brumation. As well right now at 7 pm she has just went to sleep. She never did so early before. Lights out is 930 pm

What are you using for a basking bulb brand please --- what are you using for a UVB coil or a long tube fixture and what are the temps in the tank and surface basking temps? All this could cause crazy behavior along w/ the sight of another dragon? And yes it was too much activity for her --- especially the kids --- she needs time to acclimate to her tank and surroundings -- does she have lots of stress marks ?

Standard bulb for basking and T5 10.0 uvb
I have a UVB meter to keep a eye on uvb bulb to ensure it’s output Stays good.
I also have a doggie outside play pen and when wether permits I let my baby outside for at least 30 mins a day to get natural uvb

Where is the UVB top of tank or inside ? Screen fine mesh like a screen door or a wide hole? And what are the surface basking temps? Those should be taken w/ a digital probe thermometer-- outside time is good

Yes on top of mesh screen. I have a zen habit. Yes I have a digital temp probe and zap it frequently around my baby where she bask. And it’s a good 88-93 depending on house temp and such. And yes my uvb meter shows correct Ferguson zone even through the mesh

Basking temps for a baby should be 105-110-- the 88-93 is not high enough --- what is the distance for the UVB ? I guess I wouldnt trust the meter --- the screen blocks 30% of the rays and distance w/ out screen should be 12-15 inches -- on the screen it is recommended 8-10 inches -- can you post a pic of the tank please --

I mis typed on my temps. As you see in photos with my temp probe we are 90-110 and maybe a bit more so she has a wide range of temps to move around in.
And yes I know a screen can block uvb. This is why I have a UVB meter. It depends on how wide the holes are in it ect.
My enclosure is a 4’x16” tallx24 deep zen habitat. Yes I know 24 “ tall is recommended though my husband bought this and well can’t return it. I will not put a light inside the enclosure as my hide is custom built and was designed at the height to have the reptile in the correct Ferguson zone with the light on top of the mesh according to the $250 meter I have used and worked well for my chameleon.
Also as you can see the basking spot is 8” from screen.

In the near future I will be moving to a 4x2x2 and the lights will be on the inside of that one. I will then again find the correct position/height my hide should be in the Ferguson zone to know how tall the basking spot on the new custom designed hide should be before she moves in.

My husband then will take this enclosure for his snake.

Ok it looks like the uvb is approx 8-10 inches?

Ok Update
Vet visit is good, he said he is completely healthy pending fecal test results. My Husbandry is spot on.
As long as the fecal is good, He thinks her being moody like is her being a teenager and territorial because of seeing the foster dragon.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
