Has anyone dealt with a bearded dragon that had soft tissue inflammation?
Onix my beardie has been sleepy/lazy, hiding, and digging for the past 3 weeks. I assumed brumation since that's what he did last time he went into brumation. I went to get a pre-brumation vet checkup and found out he has an infection as well as soft tissue inflammation. The vet told us to not let him brumate while sick; and honestly I'm wondering if he's just acting this way because he is sick. Even with medicine (a shot of fortaz every 3 days) for the past week and a half he is still very sleepy and lazy. Is this a normal reaction to being sick like that OR is he still trying to brumate? Also does anyone know what causes soft tissue inflammation? Did the inflammation lead to any other health issues in the future?
