Our 9 month old bearded dragon was brought to the vet due to not wanting to bask, laziness, and preferring to sit with her mouth ajar. She is still eating and pooping. Bloodwork showed elevated uric acid and calcium. She does not have swollen joints or any symptoms of gout other than the bloodwork. The vet suggested xrays to check for follicles, but I'm more concerned about kidney issues. We changed up her basking spot so it is cooler and she is basking more now. Just trying to figure out what this could be. Thanks!
