He does look a little skinny in that picture. I don't think he was starving, I don't see any ribs or anything, but if he was housed with other babies he may not have gotten as much food as some of the others.
yeah he was with a lot others and at the end of his tail you can see another baby took a chunk out of it :(

As long as your doing the 3 feedings a day as much as he can eat he will start packing on the grams. Ok uvb is your most important piece of equipment hands down. Reason we ask is because t8 are very weak you need it much closer than other uvb it is a tube but weak. You need that 6-8 inches from the bask zone. (Inside tank)

You plan on buying a new tank correct? If so you could buy a T5 instead of a T8 that’s suitable for the tank you’ll be getting. But yeah she is right for now your t8 needs to be inside no farther than 8 inches away from the dragons bask spot. t8 is not near powerful enough for on top. Do you have any idea what the next tank will be like size wise?

Oh good to hear! 40 gallon tank would do just fine for some months. Then eventually you will want to get bigger. They do grow fast.

D3 toxicity Is really hard to overdose them on these things. 9 times out of 10 people don’t give them enough supplementation which causes them a lot of health issues later down the road however when you Dust your insects you just want them lightly coated you don’t want it Caked on them. Just a pinch of the powder. Supplementation and UVB go hand-in-hand that’s Why UVB is so important it aids in the D3 process. If you have adequate UVB your good to go. There are a few insects that are just so high in calcium there’s no need to dust them. Like bsfl, Silkworms is another.

When our Dragon was a baby we used this. Our Dragon is an adult and eats her greens A lot of calcium and vitamins in the vegetables you’ll be feeding the dragon. I only give D3 to my dragon once a week and supplement three times a week but I do a liquid calcium that I get from a member on this forum . These two are actually made to be mixed with one another

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
