Missing Bearded Dragon outside

I have taken my bearded dragon outside almost every good weather day since I have had him. I became distracted while he was basking outside today and he went missing. It's been several hours. I'm trying so hard not to give up as I also just received hundreds of bugs today he would have thoroughly enjoyed and I just am upset with myself as I never took my eyes off of him like I did today. I pray I find him safe soon.

Hello,

I am so sorry to hear about that! Do you have a fence? is the bottom covered where he cant get through? was any doors to your house open? He may have gone inside. How big is your beardie? Do you have any pets who knows him enough to smell his Scent? some pets do find them and owners don't know until they see that they're pet is looking at one thing. When I lost my beardie inside my house (This is just what I used to find my beardie) I called her name and she responds so I was able to find her. Do you have any big rocks that have gaps between them? Beardies love to hide in weird places such as between rocks, In damp grass holes, etc. My beardie loves to hide outside in one place every time and it is the sandpit where there is a hole that has been there for months so she chills in there. I do have more Suggestions, But I'm not gonna list them right now because I don't wanna lmake this really long:ROFLMAO:. I really hope that you find your beardie And it is heartbreaking to loose a beardie. Let's pray for your beardie🙏

Hello, what city/state are you located in? My brother recently found a bearded dragon outside and can’t find the owners (rural area, his in-law’s vacation home in CA). If we can’t find the owner we are going to take care of him/her, but would like to return him/her home if we could find out where he came from.

I'm in south Florida (Pompano Beach near Fort Lauderdale) I hope you find its owner.

Yes there are openings under one side of the fence and the other side the way it is designed he could get through. He isn't a full adult. Maybe 7 or 8 months. He was basking outside. I've checked inside and will continue to incase he went back in but part of me fears he went under something and I just cannot see him. I placed his tank and lights outside hoping it'll draw him in. My heart is sad.

Put up fliers, your neighbors may have seen him. I lost mine once for 3 weeks in my neighborhood, he walked over an acre and crossed traffic. I got him back by putting up fliers lol.

I hope you find him!

If I were you, I'd put his tank outside or at least his basking light... inside some type of box or large container he can safely walk into. If he's nearby, I'm sure he'd be drawn to the light, especially if he can see it's his home. I've heard they have eye sight as good as we do.

Good luck!!

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
