Beardie bite force

I’ve seen them slice cleanly through chicken and various veggies. Of course for reference, I can pry open my Maltese Yorkie mix’s mouth open easily but a 400g lizard is near impossible to do.
This is something I think about every morning.
How strong is the force behind a beardie’s bite? How painful is it compared to that of a dog’s bite. I do want to clarify that the two times Kazoku has bit me were either from when he was tiny or he was in food mode over a foxtail plant.
I don’t need sleep, I need answers.

It depends how hard they bite. I've been bitten multiple times but only by a baby which it did hurt but not a lot. I've also been bitten by an adult once and that hurt more then my baby but I would say to me it hurts a tiny but hardly any difference between a dog bite and a beardie bite so I would say they're about the same except beardie with hardly any different more painful then a dog bite

I mean I am aware that baby beardie bites barely hurt, although what I’m focusing on is the sheer muscle adults beardies have to their jaws compared to a dog’s jaws.
Have you seen how many sharp teeth beardies have? It haunts me on how painful they would be on human skin.

Hmmm. I haven't. It is hard to tell because they have such small teeth. I know that they have a lot but some of the teeth can be a little duller than the others

They're jaw is really strong. It is hard to even pry open their mouth. If they bit your finger, then their jaw can hurt a lot by th force of the jaw

Sooo I may have found some of my answer, they slam that mouth shut like a mouse trap and oh boy does it hurt. I didn't stick my thumb in far but ow. Just to inform you guys Kazoku is trained to allow me to gently pry open his mouth so he's cooperative with the vets and for me to check his health.

It's not really their teeth that hurts, the ridge plate in the top of their mouth is what hurts the most.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
