Hi! My beardie Spike is just about a year old now. I’ve been noticing a lot of black on his teeth, which looks like old food or plaque. Is this normal? He is 100% normal, very energetic, eating normally, gums look healthy, etc. Here are some pictures. Don’t mind the blueberry stains on his mouth .
I feed him collards daily, blueberries or other fruit once a week in his salad, squashes, bell peppers, etc. The bugs consist mostly of bsfl larvae and crickets when he is out of larvae. He eats dubias here and there but he’s not a huge fan! He gets calcium about 5 times a week and multivitamin 2 a week.
He doesn’t like me inspecting his mouth very much either so these are the best pictures I could get.
