Hi,

I noticed these two red looking bumps on my dragons back feet. The right foot is swill and the left has the same mark but not swollen. What could they be?

Please post a pic of the feet? Are you using any heat rocks in the tank or heat mats? Anything he can burn his feet on - asking before I see pics please

It wouldn’t be a burn. I don’t use heat mats. He has been glass surfing for the last 3 days as well. We are currently building his new zen tank.
Glass surfing can be caused by lots of different things
too small of a tank
temps too hot in the tank
improper UVB
basking bulb is a off white or yellowish or a coil
any coils
colored bulbs

The tank is a 20 gallon currently which is why i bought the zen 4’2’2’ the uvb is a t8 and the basking is a 75w. Temp is 90 on the hot side and 80 on the cool. Humidity is at 30% light we’re changed 4 months ago. No coil lights. I use a ceramic emitter 60w at night. No color lights.

How are you getting the basking temps-- they should be surface temps and taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- temps at night should be 65-75 ambient- humidity is good- the T 8 needs to have no clear plastic cover on it and unobstructed w/ it directly above the basking decor 6-8 inches- basking temps 105-110 for a baby

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
