Is low humidity an issue, provided other needs are met?

So my habitat for Ziggy is an 8’x 2’x 2’ Zen Habitat enclosure and humidity on the hot side is as low as 18-20% and on the cool side with live plants is 28%. Ziggy doesn’t get stuck shed as I bathe her. She is properly hydrated with her diet (you can tell by her bowel movements) and overall she is healthy. Is low issue a problem during the day provided all her other needs are met?

I would try and keep it above 20% -- you want a digital probe hygrometer for your tank I would get two of them for the 8' tank - place on the center walls of the two tanks its going to read your whole tank - 40-50% is optimal nothing over 70% and nothing under 20% -- and yes getting way down there in humidity can cause RI's

Can you please tell me how to get consistent humidity?

You dont want too low of humidity it can cause RI's -- we always ask when someone is in the ER section about RI's what their humidity is -- right now its winter here and my one dragons tank is running at 19% while the other one is at 25 or so -- so I have a humidifier going between the two tanks - so Hiccups tank does not get so low -- like I posted optimal is 40-50%

before positing this saying, “10% is fine. It won't hurt. But high humidity can.”

So that’s what I meant when I said conflicting information. Especially from a reliable source. Lol

It's sitting on a low filing cabinet between the two tanks - on low at nite and high during the day because of the lights-

Where are the hygrometers and are they the dial ones?

Zoo Med probes. They have been all over the enclosures the last few days. I really struggle with the humidity, temps & lighting. They sit side by side but each show different temps & now humidity. Rotated the zoo meds to verify one tank didn’t have malfunctioning ones.
One more question if that’s okay? Have 4x24x24 with very wide holed screen (chicken fencing) how far away should reptisun T5 10.0 bulb & hood be placed? Thanks again!

Place the hygrometer probe center back wall it will read the whole tank- top of screen w/ the chicken wire try the 12-15 inches w/ decor directly under the basking decor- watch the behavior of the dragon

The probe is back in the center. Will keep adjusting the humidifier to get them at least above 20%. If one gets to 50 while the other hits 20%, will that be ok? This is the top. My male freaked out after moving him from a 40 breeder where the light was on top when I put the lighting inside so I cut out some of the enclosure top to put all the lighting on the outside. Someone said to place 8-10” but I will move back to 15”. My female hasn’t been eating much since I moved it closer but she is always under it. Thank you so so much!

Two enclosures side by side with same setup. Just moved the humidifier, one still showing 10% while the other is 32%
