When they shed they will turn different colors gray darker sometimes black on the tail or dark brown opaque white
What is the rule of thumb of what size horn worms and silkworms. My horn worms have gotten big, too big I think. I'm not sure what to do with them. Also, a lot of my dubia are too big. What do people do when these bugs get too big for their dragon?

Post pic of the dragon and the horn worm and the roach -- typically a full size dragon can eat large/ extra large dubias --- horn worms can out grow and full size dragon lots of people will cut them in half its up to you -- silk worms dont get real big and a full size dragon can eat a regular size silk they and the horn worms are really soft

Hi Karrie,
I got my 24 inch 12% Arcadia light in. How far should I put it above the basking spot? Thanks for your help?

ok it needs to go in the tank ---- please use this to hang it w/ GE 15 ft. Cable Ties, Hook and Loop Spool, Black-10375 - The Home Depot
this is like a Velcro strap cut into strips and wrap around the fixture it works really good
Please place a piece of decor directly under the UVB approx 12-15 inches and replace the bulb in approx 1 year I recommend one month prior to
Thanks so much for that info! Another question that I had is that I bought a new piece of decor. It’s sort of an upside down U shape. Different areas on this new decor are different temperatures and in a couple of spots it is over 110°. Is that OK will he just be able to go to the areas that are the temperature he needs or should I try moving it around to get the entire thing so it’s All under 110°?

You can try they will sit where it's more comfortable and will move

I just want to be sure before I put it in because I realised I did not tell you before it is a Arcadia T5 HO 12% Bulb, I just noticed there is also one that is not HO, so I wanted to double check with you. Thanks!

I have the HO, but just wanted to double check if 12-15 inch distance from the basking spot is the correct distance for the HO bulb?
Yes inside tank for a fine screen mesh if it's a wide holed type it can sit on top 8-10 inches- directly above the basking decor for both placements

Ok thanks! Do you think that the way his beard is sort of bulbous is normal?

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
