I miss my bearded dragon

I dunno what to do. I miss my bearded dragon and I lost her due to a respiratory tract infection

I recently bought a pacman frog to try to fill the void
and it died.
The local breeder wasn't very nice.

Idk what to do about getting a reptile.

Have you thought about getting another dragon? Just make sure you have the correct lighting-- if you need help w/ that please ask we can help you

I'm really sorry about Skittles, I think it's really hard on us when we lose a pet and sometimes the memories can really hit you. Is there maybe a rescue in your area that has a healthy dragon that needs a home ? Any other reptile like a leopard gecko [ smaller + easier care ] that might appeal to you ?

And the local reptile shop hawley is like 'i'm calling the cops'

Pacman frog killed itself.
I hear he answers 800 questions per person and he doesn't have time for me.

I'm so upset

I'm scared
hawleys homebred reptiles said he'd call the cops on me and he's not the same.

It's like he has no remorse

I also reported him to the american disability association because I'm not aloud in his shop.
I'm disabled I have schizophrenia.

It's sad people are treated this way.

I'm sorry you're having such trouble right now, life can be very disappointing and unfair at times. I can't say that I totally understand your feelings but I do wish the best for your situation. Do you have meds. that you need to take and friends or family for when you're going through your harder times ?

Yeah I have medication.
I was told by the breeder to 'lay off the drugs cupcake'
I'm not on big drugs I'm just on meds

And to be honest, I'm listening to him.

I'm taking less medication in hopes someday I can take care of a reptile
I see people do it so easily.

The doctors dont know I'm taking less meds to try to obtain this goal of owning a reptile

Hmmmm, well that breeder does not have the experience or training to advise anything about your meds., your Dr. is the one to do that. You will be in better condition to care for a reptile if you listen to your Dr. I think. You might try a different store and maybe get something like a leopard gecko or another pac man frog. How was your frog set up , do have a picture by chance ?

There was a point where I was breathing through a paper bag trying to take care of skittles
I was doing it daily

They were actually forcing me the medication.

And by the time I got skittles I was highly retarded.
I think the meds made me retarded

I'm sorry to hear that, everyone should be treated fairly. Maybe find a different store to deal with.

Yeah.

I started halving my dose because the antipsychotic medication made me worse.
I was breathing through a paper bag trying to take care of skitts the bearded dragon.

2 years ago I had to lower my dose by half because of both tolerance of the drug and side effects.

Everybodies got to take the pfizer shot.
& I take it's medication zyprexa. I've been taking it for 12 years.

about 20 mg a day. makes me sleep about 16 hours a day.

Maybe I'm too retarded to take care of any other reptile than a bearded dragon

maybe me and the shop should have got into an argument because I have evidence he's not supportive towards the disabled.

I was afraid the cop shop next to him was gonna come after me
He has a small shop next to the cop shop, I wouldn't be surprised if he has relationships.

I'm truly sorry that you're going through this tough situation. Don't be hard on yourself, life is really full of difficulty and you didn't ask for any illness and you must be trying the best that you can. I'm sure that you could take care of another creature if you decide to get one. Hang in there !

When I moveout I'm gonna ask for my housing guide to find a reptile friendly apartment.
(Hopefully 2 bedroom so I have a quarantine room.)

I like buying animals online more anyways it's always more fun.
The boxes surprise you!
You get to open up something special.
So that will be fun.
