Not eating but basking all day

Hi! My 2 yr old beardie went off food mid-September. Before that he'd go for his veggies and dubia within minutes after I put the bowl down. Since he's an adult and it's getting colder where I am, I figured he may be starting to brumate. Got a fecal test done 2 weeks ago and he's all clear. However, he's still fairly alert and basking all day instead sleeping or even hiding so now I'm worried it's something else. He's pooped once since the fecal test (didn't know there was anything in there to poop out!) and I could tell he was dehydrated so I've been giving him some water very other day. His weight went from 480g in August to 460g now in November. Could it still be brumation? Has anyone experienced this kind of behavior?

Tank info: Replaced his T5 10.0 uvb tube last week in case that was it but he's still not eating. Basking temp is around 96/97, cool side around 75. Zen 4x2x2.

His setup looks good, and he looks healthy to me based on the photos. Dropping from 480g to 460g isn't too bad, but I would keep an eye on that and watch the fat stores on top of his head and at the base of his tail. If he is using those and they are starting to look concave, it may indicate a problem that he is otherwise hiding pretty well. It's possible he is just going through a seasonal slowdown. Not all of them will go into a full brumation sleeping for months on end.

Hi there,
What are you measuring your temperatures with? Can you post a picture of him and the setup. So he doesn't come down from his basking spot all day?

Measuring with IR gun/digital probes. If my boyfriend or I are in the room he sometimes climbs down to walk around or sit on one of the non-basking platforms to watch us, then climbs back up to bask eventually. Pretty normal for him which is why I'm starting to doubt it's brumation.
I'll post a pic tomorrow when he's awake. He does sleep in more lately.

Here are pictures of Dumpling in his tank right after the lights turned on this morning. He slept on his basking platform.

Thanks! I tend to worry about everything he does. 🙃

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
