Hello everyone,
So I took my bearded dragon outside to bask in the sun and he basically ate some of my shishito pepper leaves that I happen to be growing he did not eat the peppers itself but just green leafy part. Are they OK?

I swear this guy will eat anything that is in his path and just want to make sure.

How much did he eat? Peppers and tomatoes are in the nightshade family and the leaves are toxic.
You might want to call a reptile vet or the aspca poison control (888) 426-4435

He only ate a very small amount. He seems to be acting normal...no signs of distress. Going to make sure he wont be able to eat anymore of those plants. Thank you.

Thats good to hear. Check all plants in your yard that he may come in contact with.
I keep my dragon leashed so he can't run away or go after unapproved plants

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
