New Beardie Owner Need Help

My beardie has been laying flat on its stomach. Is this a bad thing? I’ve found things saying it is then others saying that it isn’t. Should I be worried?

Depends --- we need all kinds of info to determine what hes doing? Please post a pic of the tank and lighting --- that is key here --how old is the dragon? Here is some info on what you should NOT have
NO coils for a UVB -- NO colored bulbs NO heat rocks and NO heat mats --
you MUST have a digital probe thermometer to get accurate basking temps
you MUST have a long tube UVB correctly placed w/ certain distances for certain bulbs -- How old is the dragon and how long have you had him? Please go over everything so we can figure out what is wrong? Is he eating ? Is he pooping?
