Foot Spa?!?!

Postby Hossinn » Mon Apr 12, 2021 3:38 pm

I saw on Reddit (coming here for professional advise, of course), that people are using Foot Spas for dragon baths: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y2YCF7R/re ... asin_title

Does anybody here have experience with this? Do the dragons like the bubbles? Is it a good size for them? Is it good that it keeps the heat consistent?

I have seen dragons in those spas -- I dont know anything about how it effects them or if it can cause a RI --- some of the others on here w/ more experience would need to respond to this --

I've been seeing that on Reddit too. I'm not too crazy about the idea really, but some of the dragons seem to be enjoying it so maybe OK on a case by case basis. I wouldn't turn the heat up on them if they have heaters. Temps shouldn't be much more than our body temperature (water feels just slightly warm to the touch). The bubbling may increase the risk of inhaling some of the water, but again I think that really depends on the the dragon and the situation.

Hello,

I haven't ever heard of people using one of those for a bath for their dragons. IF you do decide
to use one, I would have it shallow but wouldn't use it for too long of a period of time. The bubbles, some may like it & others might not.
