Hi... my beardie has a swollen neck that I just noticed today. I observed him for a bit, and he’s been keeping his head high as if he’s trying to swallow.. he did appear to almost throw up at one point. His breathing seems fine.. and he’s been acting pretty normal with the exception of not wanting food... he’s extremely food driven so this is out of character for him. Do you guys think I need a vet visit or should I observe for a few days! He’s my best friend I would die if something happened to him... any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Hello,

I agree, it looks like he may just have some food stored in his beard, they do that at times.
I would say that if his beard is still swollen in a day or so, then it might be something else.
The size increased suddenly?

Let us know how he is doing!

Hello,

That is great news the beard did go down some. Has it gone back to its normal size?
It is unnerving when things like that do happen & hard not to worry with issues like that!
I am glad he is doing ok now.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
