New carpet in house

I'm not sure if this is still a thing but I remember hearing that when new carpet is installed it lets of toxic fumes that can harm/kill animals. I am having new carpet installed in my house, do I need to keep the dragon out of the house for a few days?

I didnt -- I just left the door open to the room they were in and they survived just fine
