Hi! Aggie has laid infertile eggs before in 2020 in fall with no issues so i know all the signs of it. She is currently showing all the signs of egg laying but her laying season is in fall. She has uvb and her basking temps are 95, she has a warm and cool side, 2 hides, and paper towel as substrate. she is in a 40 gallon and is doing amazing in it but i was just wondering could bearded dragon's laying seasons change? i set up a lay box in her favorite hide just in case. any tips or ideas on what it could be? all help is appreciated :D

I don't know how common it is for them to have multiple egg laying sessions in a year, but I don't think it's unheard of. It's good that you set up a lay box for her. Has she been digging in it at all? It's possible that she has developed a new clutch already or hasn't passed all of them. If she doesn't start to lay any more but still shows the behavior of needing to lay them, perhaps an ultrasound would be helpful to get a better idea of what's going on.

interesting! everyone on instagram is saying their female beardies are also laying at this time! And yes she has been digging in it quite a bit! I'll have to see if i can get an ultrasound. If she doesnt lay in 2 or 3 weeks then something might be wrong. And yeah i agree it is possible thank you for the help :blob5: :blob8: :D

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
