We're all aware that beardies can act skittish, or weird before, and during a shed, but what about immediately after? I'm fairly new to owning a beardie, I've had mine about 3 months, and he's maybe a couple months older than that. He's just completed his second shed since I've owned him, and again, he seems completely different after he's done. Last time, he got all wound up, and then eventually started to show signs of being tamed for the first time since I owned him. This time, as soon as he finished, he's acting almost "hormonal".. He tries to act tough when he doesn't want to be picked up.. He puffs his beard, does the sideways turn pancake thing. He doesn't seem genuinely scared, just trying to be tough.
Hi picked a fight with a rock in his plant today. He never used to seem to know how to do those things.. Seems more active, and more impatient about his feeding etc. Just a while bunch different. Like a teenager. Anyone else ever have this happen before?
