Looks like it's starting to heal up a bit. Have you been using the honey?

What does the hammock read with your IR gun? It might have trouble reading that.

I would get a digital thermometer with probe end just to make sure of your measurement. They are cheap only around 5 bucks or so.

How is she acting today?

Hello,

It is slowly looking better! I hope she is feeling much better, too.
Keep doing the treatments & eventually it will all heal up, it just takes time.
Let us know how she is doing & how things are coming along with her head.

Yes I’ve been treating with honey. She has never stopped eating or displayed any irritation other than when trying to treat it. It does seem to obstruct her nostrils a bit as when I’m treating her if I get the smallest amount near her nose it seems like it’s plugged and she gasps a few times then she resumes breathing normally. I hope she will be ok soon. I’ll get the temperatures later when I am at the enclosure.

You're welcome ! Hopefully she'll heal + won't have any harmful infection. Be sure to get the Powersun a lot further away or use a smaller watt bulb. Good to hear that she has a decent appetite, please keep us posted. :)
