I have a 1yr beardie in a 4x2x2 tank.
His basking light provides a sufficient temp.
For ambient temps, I have a 150w and a 60w ceramic.
ambient temp goal is 90watts.
Right now, it’s between 82 and 87 max.
Do i change that 60watt ceramic to a 100watt ceramic?

Hello,

I responded on your other thread, & moved it to Health for you.
Which thermometer are you using to measure the temperatures?
A 4x2x2 sized tank is great sized, lucky boy he is! Your ambient temperatures should really
only need to be around 85F or so, but no higher. They do need an area where they can go
to cool off when needed.

Only 85? Wow. Seems so cold for a hot desert creature haha!
I use a thermopro thermometer from amazon. A vet tech with a beardie and a lotta knowledge recommended it to me.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
