Hello everyone. I decided to read an article about how often beardies should be fed, just to get a refresher. It said that greens shouldnt really be introduced until 12 months or so. Tokyo is currently approx. 6 months and has been eating veggies for a while. Is this fine? Also for a 6 month old who is about 17 inches, how many times should he be fed dubia roaches and how many? (Also getting BSFL probably)

Ok thanks! Thats really good to know, Im happy Tokyo doesnt have a problem with greens. Since you have 20 years of experience, how much dubua roaches and BSFL should I be feeding my 17 inch ~6 month old?

Your dragon still should be getting quite a bit of food at that age as he is still going to be growing. Quantities will depend on the size of the feeder, but typically mine that are around that age can easily eat 50+ bsfl a day when also mixing in some dubias. You might want to limit his dubias since they are very high in uric acid, but no need to limit the BSFL.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
