Can I use a ceramic heat emitter for the basking side or does it need to be a heat bulb? I get my new thermostat and it lets me set up day/night temps and since it only controls 1 source I was thinking of just using the ceramic emitter so there is no light during the night incase the temps drop below the set point.

No ches for basking--- bright white basking bulb--- ches only for nite time IF your tank is falling below 65 at nite- they like cool and dark

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
