Hi my 4 year old male dragon has a massive tummy I was just wondering if this is normal or is he just fat or something else. I got him half a year ago. I have attached some images

Thanks Elliot

Could be a female but the blocky head is making me think male. Still would be good to double check if you're not positive. Does he poo regularly ? What + how much does he eat usually ?

Hi thanks for replying I will check if eddy is male or female tonight when I can. He poos about every 7 days. The people who had him before me fed him Dubia roatches about 5 a day and some salad with meal worms mixed in. I fed him about 5 roaches about one mealworm a day and put some spring greens in his mouth when he opens it because he won’t eat it at all. but about one month ago he stopped eating for a week so I lowered the temperature then he started again but after that he went of his dubia roatches and won’t eat them so I started him on crickets and locuses which he was eating untill about 2 days ago he loves to eat meal worms but I know they are bad for him but I can’t really get him to eat other stuff recently then I put veggies in his mouth

He may have been overfed before you got him and once they are mature adults it's hard to lose the weight. If he wasn't pooping regularly I would wonder if he was impacted from the wood chips possibly. Is he very active at all ? A couple things you ccann do is feed him insects only 2 times a week and reduce the amount but greens are fine every day. Let him out of the tank to run around in a safe room, be SURE there are no loose objects on the floor that a beardie will swallow like buttons, coins, rubber bands , tiny doll shoes, lego or game pieces. Also be sure he can't get under the fridge or any holes in a wall, etc. Some exercise and reduced insect feedings may help him to lose weight. :)

Hi thanks for the advice he has always been pooping every 7 days the people before said that as well they had him for 6 months so I don’t know before that. But they let live good in his cage while he had wood chips so he might of swallowed one when he had wood chips I was always careful and a week ago I changed his chips for a reptil carpet he is active when I take him out of his cage he explores my room but in his cage he is not to active. Okay I will reduce the amount and let him exercise more thanks for the advice

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
