I have the Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 30W t8, it is above the basking spot inside the Viv with a reflector about 7/8in from basking area is this an ideal distance? :D

Yep that is a good distance -- how long is your tank -- you want her to be able to get out of those rays and not hiding from them
