Hi there, were you able to measure the temperature while you had the lamp over them ? If it was too high it may have killed them but now just try a better method and see how they do. You could mix perlite or regular play sand with the dirt [ keep the eggs in the same position after you move them ] Some pet stores sell something called hatchrite. Be sure that the substrate is moist but not wet. That's very important. Did your plastic container have a lid ? If so, put holes in the lid and put it back on, either use a drill or a hammer + nail to make pretty large holes, about 2 dozen holes. With no incubator you can just put the container in Lemon's tank in an area that is about 80-86 degrees. Or in an area in the house that temp. if you have one . Check that the soil is moist every week, if it feels dry, carefully add more water around but not on the eggs . Use a syringe or very carefully a spray bottle.
