I'm reading that a could uv bulb is sufficient and good enough. Thor is aprox 5-6 months old and I'm wondering if its possible that the coil was ok at first but no longer? His eating habits have changed dramatically in the last 2 weeks. Went from eating 20 crickets or 7 worms to maybe 2 every other day and just salads twice a day. He does seem less active as well. Can someone send me a name of what bulb and fixture to get? Does Amazon sell them?

If your using a 13 watt coil please get rid of it--- if its a 26 watt Reptisun we have not heard bad things w/ those yet but the distance for the bulb should be 4-6 inches from basking decor w/ no obstruction --- my advise is to ditch the coil all together --- here are some links to what I recommend you get --- if your tank is a 40 + gallon---- https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/t5-uvb-light-fixture.html
this bulb https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-10.0-uvb-t5.html you will need a 22" bulb-- these people are fast and good order will come Fed Ex

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
