We cannot keep him.

How do I go about finding his owner or surrendering him to an organization that will care for him?

I need to do this before tomorrow evening.

Call a rescue center in your area-- google rescue centers and see what comes up

Where are you located?

You can call an exotic vet in your area for advice. Most animal welfare groups aren't set up to handle reptiles, but calling them could help you find a group that could help.

Take a picture and post a "Did You Lose Me" public post to Facebook, too - lots of people have found their pets that way.

If you're local or close to a member on this list, someone here might be able to foster until the owner is found.

Thank you for rescuing a lost dragon!

Thank you for rescuing a lost dragon!

We are located in east central Florida.

My Facebook account was somehow locked out for suspicious activity so I cannot access it at the moment.

He is very docile and does seem like he was loved by someone.

He reminds me so much of our bearded dragon that passed away over six years ago.

it sounds like someone has lost him -- I would post a pic of him and where you found him and post them on telephone poles around town and maybe vets offices etc

Hello,

You can try posting signs for Lost & Found but, that does take time. Chances are, he has a
home nearby because they normally wont travel a long distance. You could ask around to see
if anyone in your area knows of someone who had a bearded dragon.
Good luck, I hope you are able to find his owner.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
