tail rot????

hi i’m new to this website. my beardies tail has become increasingly dark and you can see for yourself in the pictures what’s happening. i’m worried. is there anyone who has any idea what it could be?

Hello,

No worries at all. That discoloration appears to be an upcoming shed, but definitely not
tail rot. The tail looks healthy!
Is any other part of him shedding??

hi, no other parts of her are shedding. it’s gradually gotten darker over the past week. the top of the tail looks the same, no changes there. but the underside looks like that. is it possible that she can shed just underneath the tail ?
