I haven't tried that but it looks to be an updated version of the Herpstat 2 which is what I use. It is generally very good and I'm glad to have it. It does have some issues with the halogen bulb flickering during ramp up/ramp down but otherwise does a nice job. The programmability is very good. The remote monitoring of the new one might be a nice feature to have. I may give it a test one of these days.
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.
