Hello. new to the group here. Dart, my 14 month old bearded dragon has large fat pads/muscle on his mandible (lower jaw on both sides) . his teeth look fine and he isn't painful. He eats Dubia, BSFL and the occasion super. I just noticed how prominent they are after his most recent shed. is this normal? They feel just like his fat pads on the top of his head.

My dragon has some pads in the same area, although they aren't as pronounced. Dart may just be storing more fat there by design. As long as the gums don't look swollen or infected and the pads don't change much over time I'd think of it as a feature rather than a bug.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
